we’ve all gone through friendless periods in our lives. don’t fall into the trap of thinking there’s something intrinsically wrong with you - that is a) untrue and b) a belief that will make your isolation grow and cause feelings of worthlessness that will prevent you from accepting people into your life because you feel like you’re not deserving of their friendship

i legit havent felt this close to god’s love in weeks

People putting pictures of “ugly” and messy kitchens and saying that its their hell do not understand anything.

It’s your home.

The dishes are dirty because you ate, because you took care of yourself and you family. The paint is peeling above the stove from the heat of all breads you have baked and all teas you have brewed.

Heaven isn’t neat and perfect. It’s making coffee at 2 in the morning because you can, it’s the ugly feeling of sadness when a recipe goes wrong, its the comfort of peeling an orange to someone you love.

i wanna be defined by the things that i love, not the things i hate, not the things im afraid of, not the things that haunt me in the middle of the night...i just think that you are what you love.

Do you ever look at your pet and go holy shit that is a little beast moving and doing things of its own volition. In my home

THE ATLAS SIX by OLIVIE BLAKE

“But the moment we realize we can feel fulfilled without carrying the burdens of belonging to another—that we can experience rapture without being someone’s other half, and therefore beholden to their weaknesses, to their faults and failures and their many insufferable fractures—then we’re free, aren’t we?”
